Closing time

  • Accompanied units: 1 hour
  • Unaccompanied units: 2 hours
  • Unaccompanied IMO units: 4 hours

Color Line will not guarantee confirmed space for units that are presented closer to departure than the deadline given above.

BAF adjustments

The BAF (Bunker Adjustment Factor) surcharge for each route is adjusted each month.

The EU ETS (Emissions Trading System) fee is adjusted monthly based on the price of emission allowances and the average greenhouse gas emissions for each route.

The exchange rates for Euro and Danish Kroner against Norwegian Kroner are adjusted each month.

    Waiting list

    On certain sailings there may be a waiting list. Color Line operates a dynamic waiting list, meaning other units may be prioritized based on factors such as length and ETA, regardless of your position. A confirmed space on the requested sailing cannot be guaranteed.

    You will receive an email if your booking is allocated a confirmed space, which may happen close to departure.

    • Tuesday–Friday departures at 08:00: Updated the previous day at 15:00
    • Tuesday–Friday departures at 12:50: Updated the same day at 09:00
    • Tuesday–Friday departures at 12:40 and 22:30: Updated the same day at 11:00
    • Saturday–Monday departures: Updated on Friday at 11:00
